Ann Coulter
As the Republicans continue their rebuilding, a number of leading voices continue to be on the ascendancy. One of those leading lights is Ann Coulter. She has a passionate point of view and is not afraid to say it.
I recently got an email from human events about a column she had written. She blasted MSNBC's Keith Olbermann. During his recent column in Human Events, he blased Olberman for lying by noting that "....Olbermann's incessant lying about having an "Ivy League education" when he went to the non-Ivy League ag school at Cornell would be like a graduate of the Yale locksmithing school boasting about being a "Yale man." (Source: Really Long Link Retrieved March 5, 2009). Being a pitbull is fine. But, mere attacks without providing a strong viable alternative is simply wrong.
In a recent visit to her website, I saw that she "allows" a few reporters to interview her. Michael Steele and others have called Rush an Entertainer. I would put Ann Coulter in the same category. To her credit, she called out how phony John Edwards was. Although she is fun to listen to, her seriousness as a commentator continues to be undermined by her relentless rants. If she has something positive to say, I will be the first to listen.
