Another Victim of the Iraq War

The Iraq War continues. Although the world seems to have forgotten about it, the suffering by the Iraqis continues. One of the more heart wrenching stories is the story of Iraq's War Widows. According to reports, there are over 1,500,000 women who are widows. They are the only bread winners for the family. Now, the Iraqi Government has decided to cut back the support it extends to the widows. I am trying to understand why. A Government's role is to insure that the down and out are given a chance. The Iraqi Government seems to forget that fact.
