Can Politics And Social Media Mix?
While this isn't exactly the type of issue I cover here, when I read about it I had to share. A post by Aaron of TechnoSaior shares a piece of interesting political news. and not interesting in a good way. His article, Democrats Trying to ban Twitter and Other Social Media Use by Congressmen, shares a letter sent from Michael Capuano, Chair of the Congressional Commission on Mailing Standards to Robert Brady, Chairman of the Committee of House Administration. Capuano it seems does not like politicians communicating with people outside of the approved government websites. It is an interesting read no matter which side of the party line you stand but especially so for people interested in communicating via the various social networks on the web today.
