A Victim Finally Gets Justice!!!
Suzanne Tamim finally got justice!!! The Egyptian Billionaire Hisham Talaabt Moustafa has been sentenced to death for the 2008 murder of the Lebanese pop star.
This is a tale straight out of a Hollywood movie. Talim had an affair with Talaabt. She decided to break it off. He was jealous and sent a ex-cop to Dubai to kill her. The guy got 2 Million Dollars for it and got caught. It took some good police work by Dubai, a lot of political pressure and frankly some courage by Egypt.
What does this mean for Egypt and the power that King Hosni I (aka Hosni Mubarak) continues to have in Egypt? I'd say not much. Gamaal Mubarak is being groomed by his Dad to take over. The system of Presidential Monarchies prevalent will continue on while the ordinary people suffer.
Will the King Wake up? I Wonder. Maybe the death of his 12-Year Old grandson will make him realize his own mortality. But, still, I consider what happened to be a credit to justice in Egypt.
