Forgotten Victims of the Iraq War

Oxfam has just come out with a report about the plight of Iraqi Women. Many Iraqi women have taken to working to make ends meet. They work meager jobs, making about $ 10/Day to insure that they are able to feed their children. They are one of the many forgotten victims of a war that seems to have no end:

President Obama has announced his strategy for troop drawndown and has announced an immediate withdrawal of 12,000 troops. However, bombings continue. In addition, because of the collapse in Oil Prices, the safety net the government had provided is being drastically cut back. The cycle of violence and povertry seems to be never ending.
