How Low Can You Go?

How low can you go?

Well, if you're John Hawkins of RightWingNews the answer is pretty damn low. How about a "Obama only got the job 'cause he's black" ad? Not low enough for you? Well, toss in some "Clinton lost to a black man, because he's a black man, and it's like losing to a child's TV show character from the 70s, so vote for McCain." Via Pandagon, the most offensive ad I've seen yet.

Hang in there, Summer. I'm sure the Obama campaign will come up with something obnoxious, too.

I won't hold my breath SL, hitting below the belt is a standard tactic of most conservatives.

Actually, Summer, it's a standard Democrat ploy to turn things dirty and then whine like crazy. Obama was the first to bring up racism. Those who support him have grabbed the race ball and run with it. Obama isn't qualified beacuse he's an empty suit who isn't capable of thinking any original ideas. The color of his skin has nothing to do with his lack of experience.

When Alan Keyes or Michael Steele ran for office, it was the libs/dems that ripped them apart for not being liberal, using race as their weapon. Either of them is 100 times more qualified than Obama will ever be, because they both have real ideas and real platforms (and neither of them is in favor of infanticide like Obama is!) I'm a conservative, Summer and would happily vote for a good candidate, of any color. Obama isn't a good candidate. Period.

Right, because if you really just ignore his campaign and politics and background and history long enough it will go away. Thanks, I'll prefer to live in the real world. Kepp on livin' the dream SL.

Unfortunately, this is probably just getting warmed up. The conservatives don't want to go near real issues...they lose on each and every one. Their only choice is politics of destruction. If they approach an issue at all, it's misleading political theater, llke drill, drill, drill as an energy policy. Mostly, they stilck to throwing "manure" to see if it sticks, like that stupid intanticide line...
