Italy's Terry Schiavo

Italy's Terry Schiavo died yesterday. She was in a comma for some 17 years. Her Father had asked that she would be allowed to die in peace. Yet the Government of Italy decided to intervene after the Courts had found for the Father. As I followed this case, I remembered Terry Schivao and how The Governor of Florida and the Congressional Republicans at the time made such a fool of themselves.

I was not surprised to see Berlusconi act the way he did. He has been known to put his foot in his mouth. He is a billionaire and he thinks he can get away with anything. It seems, though, he ought to not think he knows more than a father. I was relieved to see the reports that she had passed away. May her soul rest in peace.
