Joe Da Man strikes again!!!
The Republicans Favorite Democrat, Joe Lieberman was on Fox News Sunday. He did not disappoint!!!!
Joe Lieberman began by going on a rant about the tragedy at Ft. Hood and how it could be perceived as a terrorist incident. There is enough going on without folks like him adding to the fuel. It seems to me that there needs to be a little sense of responsbility shown. He also cited his conscious when asked about Healthcare. He said that he will not allow a bill similar to what had been passed in the Hosue to come to the floor because it would be an undue burden on his children and grandchildren. But, what he fails to understand is what is going on in Main Street. What he fails to understand that everyday reform is stalled, 132 people die. I am with Michael Steele in that a 4 year timetable to implement this is 4 year too long. The reform has to happen now.
What I see out there But, these kind of stalling tactics will only serve to alienate main street. The Republicans may take comfort from the results of the election. But, the fact remains that the people seem to have adopted the mantra to "...throw all the bumps out...". As I noted in KP's sister site, Outsider Views, this is what happened in Virginia and also in New Jersey. But the posturing by Joe Lieberman does not serve the greater good of all Americans. That's what everyone who has any responsbility needs to understand. I wonder if they truly do.
