KP Media Watch: A-Jad On the Prowl
The so-called President of Iran was on the prowl again over the past 24 hours. He had apparently made a speech talking about and questioning the reporting on September 11. Reuters picked it up and then Fox ran it on its' news ticker. The man never disappoints!!!
I first ran across this report in Fox. Well, being how Fox likes to over dramatize everything, I thought I track down the actual speech. According to the Iranian President's Website, the only mention in the speech I found had to do with Fairness and Accuracy in Media Reporting. This is what the man actually said:
Dr. Ahmadinejad said: "In search of contemporary story of September 11, with the help ¬ Media, the space where the public opinion that brought the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan so they become a right.
President emphasized that in the world of arrogance, the media war against the tool has become the nation said...
His speech was focused merely on the role of the media. I did like how they shortened the man's name. Despite my own profound reservations about the man, the gang that currently is in charge in Iran and the continued challenges, there has to be a sense of fairness that is absolutely paramount. Despite his occasional bellicose rhetoric, many of his speeches actually are quite interesting to listen to.
All Fox had to do was to visit the Website, use a Google Translator and to actually translate the speech to see what he said. But, in the World according to Fox, Iran will nuke the World!!! When will true responsible journalism actually be the norm?
