KP Newsflash (10/31/2009): Iran Wanting More Talks!??!??/
This has been another fun week on the nuclear front. Iran is right now leading the world on another wild goose chase. After the initial euphoria over the IAEA proposal, now Iran has come out asking for more talks. So, basically, everything is back to square one.
What is clear is that the world must stand united to force Iran to make sure that they do the right thing. Whether the World is courageous enough to actually get it done is another matter. Iran ignored the deadline by the IAEA, took its' time and now is again playing the delay game. It should not be allowed under any circumstance. As I saw Iran's IAEA Ambassador walking in Vienna with the Director General of the IAEA, I understood why he was laughing. They are in the driver's seat.
