KP Newsflash (6/21/2010): Climate Change & CO2
As the world continues to bear witness to the gradual death of the Gulf of Mexico, there is also word of a new study that noted that the direct rise of CO2 was linked to the ancient ice age that started three million years ago. I find it fascinating:
Really Long Link
It will be interesting to see how the Climate Change sceptics and the Oil Industry lobby is going to somehow explain this away. It seems to me that we ought to somehow wake up and realize this. Fareed Zakaria of CNN & Newsweek rejected it in his Sunday Show on CNN, where he noted that Oil is still the cheapest commodity to use. I view his "defense" to be simply wrong. Why should a dying industry be supported? Why should we not use this to find a new and better way?
