KP Newsflash (9/9/2010): The Slowing Down of the US Economy
The Fed has just reported its latest assessment of the US Economy. It has proven to be a tough assessment of where things stand, right now. This is as the country begins the midterms in earnest. I just released an assessment of the Election season in KP's sister site, Outsider Views.
The Fed has reported that the slowdown is wide spread. Consumers spent a little more. But it appears that businesses are holding back. The continued anxiety is starting to take its' toll on businesses in a major way. As this slowdown is occuring, the bickering is going to go on and little or no work is going to get done. The only possible way anything is going to get done is if the Democrats prove the pundits wrong. Whether that happens is an open question.
