Let's give the Italian PM a Break....
On Good Friday, Italy held a state funeral to bury the dead of the worst earthquake to have hit Italy in 30 years. What was a bit sad was the whole world focusing on the Italian Prime Minister's comments about the people being made homeless as a result of the devastating earthquake.
Although I consider the Italian Prime Minister to be a showoff and quite self-centered, I viewed his actions in leading the Government in reaction to the crisis as quite commendable. I also view his emotions when he attended the State Funeral for the victims as quite moving. I also was further moved when he extended an offer to house some of the victims in his villas. The comment he made was to basically calm people down by telling them to imagine being on a camping trip as the Government worked to help get them squared away. The man may have some faults. But, let's give him the benefit of the doubt as we celebrate Easter.

Thanks for "dropping by".
I am not a fan of Berlussocini at alll. I think he is a self-centered power hungry man who is too full of himself. But I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt this time around...because he was especially effective in managing the aftermath..something that we can learn lessons from....
