Mr. Grassley Needs to take a Chill Pill!!
I am seeing reports that Chuck Grassley is not happy. He supposedly sent out two angry "Tweets' in response to the President's Call to action on healthcare. I find his "anger" surpising. I always have found Chuck Grassley to be one of the more reasonable members of The Senate. But, I say to him that although he notes that he is no "nail", I say to him and others that courage is something that all political leaders have to stop truly understanding.
What are the true facts? The cost of healthcare is driving this country to the ground. Insurance companies have too much power. People are increasingly being left behind and cannot afford it anymore. What are the ordinary folks to do? Senator Grassley and his partner, Senator Baucus seem not to have the courage to answer that question. I trust that the Senator will stop being mad at the President and truly come up with a solution that will work for all. It is simply disheartening to see such leaders not realizing the implications of their "negotations". How many more GM's and Chryslers should the country be faced with before they wake up?
