McCain on Timetables For the War
July 26th 2008 02:36
McCain was CNN's Situation Room talking about the war in Iraq. And as predicted he went on to say 16 months is a pretty good time table to get out of Iraq.
Wait.
Did I hear that wrong? Did McCain really just flip sides on national television and take Obama's back? Seriously? Did anyone say anything about it? Call him out? You know, the liberal media, get up on him about it? Oh wait, he's still Johnny War hero and can say and do as he pleases.
Here is the video of his comments.
But wait a good darn moment. Didn't you say bringing the troops home in a certain time table wasn't important and that Obama's plan would bring them home in defeat. You wanted them to go fighting and come home victorious and proud. No wait, give me a moment. Ah, here it is.
And then you went on to say even more recently that it's all about the ground and no timetables.
So why is suddenly a timetable good?
Wait.
