Reforming Healthcare
The front page of the latest edition of Time Magazine featured a moving story by Karen Tumulty. She related a story of the predicament of her brother. Her brother's sin was that he got sick and had to deal with the dysfunctional healthcare system. The story of the Tumulty family is the same all around the United States. This is not a liberal or conservative issue. The fact is that if we get sick in America, we will be at the mercy of the Insurance Companies. Many are afraid to go to Doctors now. The Economic Winter we're faced with has caused many to defer healthcare. For those who believe that reforming this dysfunctional system is socialism, I say read Karen Tumulty's Article. For those who think we have a great healthcare system, I say you're living in fantasyland. I would suggest that the priorities she outlined is simple, straightforward and responsible. They are:

2) Prevention Beats Intervention;
3) Realign Doctor's Incentives;
4) Reinvent the Hospitals;
5) Go Paperless
