Russia Shows its' Claws
Russia had its' military parade over the week-end. It showed off its' latest military hardware as it celebrated Victory Day:
I find this to be significant. It shows that Dimitri Medevdev is much tougher than the pundits gave him credit for. He and his Prime Minister have outwitted the useless Georgian President, have shown Ukraine who is to be reckoned with and are setting the pace on Afghanistan too. Georgia' story is one that is the most disappointing of all. The President's days are numbered. He had so much promise, but he blew it up all away when he made the strategic blunder of going up against Russia and ended up losing his entire country.
Russia has a lot to watch out for. But, whoever counts Russia out does so at its' own peril.
