Should Every Day be "Earth Day"?
Earth Day is an annual event sponsored by the UN. All of us have to do our part to help make our "Space Ship Earth" a better place to live. As I saw the proceedings of the Clinton Global Initaitive, reviewed the speeches at the UN's summit and assessed what is within the realm of the possible, I wondered why everyday can't be considered Earth Day. There has to be a daily committment. The need to be courageous is ever more evident now. What is preventing us from doing this?
As BlogAction Day 2009 approaches, I think this is an idea that must be considered. It is high time that such an idea is entertained. There is no other way.
