As Italy continues to be the "sick man" of Europe, The Prime Minister of Italy continues upon his merry way. His wife of almost 20 years has filed for divorce. She got sick and tired of the man disregarding her.
Now, everyone knows that the Italian Prime Minister is rich. Everyone knows that he has an eye for women. I was sickened when I saw reports that he had attended the birthday party for a 18-year old girl that he had apparently fancied. For someone who likens himself to Jesus Christ, what else is expected. People should not be surprised. His efforts should be acknowledged though. Although, that's what is expected of him.
I was impressed with his swift reaction after the recent earthquake in Italy. But, I had a Jon Stewart moment when I read his statement on his pending divorce. I have coined this phrase when Jon Stewart reflects upon the key event of he day. He demanded an apology from his wife!!!?!!! I could not believe his nerve.
