Bollywood Is Here to Stay!!!
Slum Dog has swept the awards, including Best Director and Best film. This is a great day for Bollywood. As I wrote on this earlier, Bollywood has a thing or two to teach Hollywood. This is especially so in light of what the Hollywood Studios are going through. DVD Sales are falling, Actors are about to go on strike and films keep getting more and more expensive. The Oscars were a chance to celebrate the best and remember those who were no longer with us. But, Hollywood is going through the same challenges that all other major players on the world economic scene are going through. They have to think different and do things smart. There lies the challenge.......
