So You Say McCain Is A Moderate
The meme of McCain's moderate status is one that gets passed around often enough. His more conservative supporters are relying on the "I saw it on the internet so it must be true" standard too often used by people not interested in actually researching a subject. Sadly, that is quite a large number of people on all sides of the fence.
Fortunately this political season has seen record numbers of people turning out to primaries and voting. This might actually turn out to be the year where people are tuning in and paying attention. Trying to pass off one's politics as something they are not just won't work when more and more people are looking into those politics for themselves. The facts are a little hard to avoid.

i actually thought McCain was a fairly moderate Republican from seeing him interviewed by Bill OReilly on Fox about immigration . . . but i guess compared to Bill everyone seems moderate! haha
