Someone who has made a difference......
Frances Perkins was America's First Secretary of Labor and was the intellectual force behind many of the innovations that utlimately was the new deal. I listened with great interest an interview that the host of DemocracyNow, Amy Goodman, had on Frances Perkins with Kirstin Downey who has written an interesting book on the subject. It will be quite a read to learn about someone who was a trailblazer and made a difference!!!
