South Africa Goes to the Poll.....
South Africa will be going to the polls in a few days. I just caught reports of Nelson Mandela attending the final election rally. I think Jacob Zuma will be President despite the challenges he has had. The question in my mind is whether the ANC will be as dominant a player with COPE and the DA giving the ANC a run for the money.
The country continues to have profound difficulties. But, I think that Zuma will be up to the challenge. The brief history I read on him on the weekend edition of the Financial Times was quite riveting in the work he had done. Poverty, Aids and Crime will be the three dragons he will need to slay. He has his work cut out for him.
