The bombshell in Liberia
Liberia's truth and reconciliaton commision has come out with a bombshell!! It has recommended banning the President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and thirty other officials to be banned from public office for 30 years for supporting the thug and murderer Charles Taylor during his years in power. She seems to have stabilized and set the country on the path to reasonable growth while Taylor sits in a jail on war crimes charges. Will Liberia have the stamina to go through another political upheavel after so much death and destruction? I wonder.
