The Dilema Over Henry Louis Gates
Over the past two days, the talk of the country was the arrest of Henry Louis Gates. Mr. Gates is one of the most prominent scholars in the country and works at Harvard as a Professor. It was frankly an unfortunate incident which did not have to happen:
I commend the President for stepping up as he did to finish this. I also think that the President is absolutely right in noting that race is still a problem in America. All Americans have to continue to strive to overcome such stereotypes, including racial profiling.
