Tidbits on the Republican Front
It appears that President Obama's cabinet is being finalized. Arlen Specter, the Senior Republican on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, finally came out on Tuesday in support of Holder. I welcome that. I just wonder why he waited a week to do this. The information he was looking for was already available. It was just simply politics, nothing else. At least the man can get to Justice within the next few days and get the process of scrubbing the Department going. It is time.
On a side note, Sarah Palin formed her Political Action Committee. She wants to be President. I wish her well. But, she has a long road ahead. It will be fascinating to watch, though.
