War: Not Good For Women and Children
Not so much shocking news for most people, but there might still be some who seem to think bombs, guns, and invasions would actually help women and children. Luckily the AP is here to help untwist this logic. Unfortunately because the AP has decided to attack bloggers I cannot quote the article, but go ahead and click here to read it for yourself.
Of course this isn't exactly new news. The trauma that the war in Iraq has caused innocent women and children living there has been well reported. From sexual assaults and rape as war tactics to the children who just happen to be standing in the wrong place at the wrong time. There are crimes committed that are almost unspeakable.
Luckily there are a few committed soldiers who have spoken up about what has happened.
