What would Pro-Lifers Do?
The Abortion debate seems to be dominating matters now. Embracing life is something that all aspire to. Yet, a 10-year old in Mexico was forced to have a child after she was raped. I have to wondder what the pro-lifers who want to celebrate life have to say to this. Why should a child have to be forced to raise another child? What will she aspire to and do?
The pro-lifers need to make sure that they understand how ignorant they've become. What will they tell her, her family who has to live with this? We should give her and her family, the love, compassion and respect due them. I end with what I started with: What would a pro-lifer do? What would a pro-choicer do? Why are we so hung up on labels that we seem to forget common deceny and humanity?
